A 2,100 km solo bike packing journey from Bangkok to Singapore, completed unsupported over eleven days..

After escaping the madness of Bangkok , the roads down the Thailand Coast was a dream. 500km of Solitude before heading inland at Surat Thani.

Crossing the Thailand-Malaysia border at a remote hill station was a significant milestone of the trip.

The route was littered with plenty of low cost good accommodation along the way. I normally rocked up about 5pm just before sunset.

A rest day in Georgetown, Malaysia was much needed after stage 8 and 1200Km Completed. Plenty of pastries and a chill before hitting the road south again.

Canyon Endurace CF SL 8
As direct as possible, One Long Line South.

Plenty of beautiful beach’s along the Thailand peninsula providing welcome rest stops , often with a mango / coconut smoothie

One night I stayed in this awesome mud huts on a farm in remote southern thailand.

The majority of the route was pretty flat which I had intended to make the distance coverable in time. The High point at this view point just south of the border

Completing this first solo bike back tour on time and without issues was super satisfying. Left me inspired for many more adventures.
