Some people have a plan. A clear path, a five year vision, a sensible next step. This is not that book.
This is forty three stories from a restless life. Mountains climbed, places cycled, countries lived in, work that took unexpected turns, and a persistent sense that there was always something else worth trying. But underneath all of it, a set of questions that never quite went away:
Do you feel like you've achieved a lot but somehow it's never quite enough?
Do you find yourself looking for the next thing before the current one is finished?
Do you flip between ideas, places, versions of yourself and wonder whether that's a problem or just how you're wired?
Do you feel like you should probably sit still but somehow never quite manage it?
This book won't resolve any of that. But it might make you feel considerably less alone with it.
